IN GOD WE TRUST

The churches of Christ Greet You (Romans 16:16)

Friends, God has blessed you with FREE access to this web site. Additionally, you also have the Webmasters permission to use this site as your own - i.e., copy, print, link, share any material you desire. We hope you will use this site to study, apply, teach, and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Love, Hope, Faith, Repentance, and the Remission of Sins) to the saved and the lost, as you have the opportunity. And always “Rejoice in the Lord” (Philippians 3:1; 4:4) and give God the glory (1 Corinthians 10:31) as you trust Him to direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6) and use you as He pleases (cf. Ephesians 1:5-12).

We believe God is ready for His CREATION to return to JESUS the Christ, the Solid Foundation upon which it was formed (1 Corinthians 3:11). Jesus is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:6)! Without Him there is no way. Without Him there is no truth. Without Him there is no life. Jesus said He came into the world to "bear witness unto the truth" (John 18:37). For that the RELIGIOUS leadership had Him crucified by the Romans, but "the common people heard him gladly" (Mark 12:37), and "great multitudes followed Him" (Matthew 8:1; 12:15; 19:2). As we follow Jesus, we have noticed that many souls are hungering to hear the Truth (cf. Matthew 5:6). It's our prayer that this web site will help those souls fulfill their hunger.

Our desire is to help bring Peace On Earth – that is, peace between families, religions, races, states, and nations. This peace is possible if the world can be brought back to God! Therefore, the GOAL of our In God We Trust web site is "to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:17). Our task won't be easy. Satan and the enemies of truth will NOT take this work lightly. However, Jesus tells us to love our enemies (Matthew 5:43-48). Therefore, with love we ask our enemies: Have you repented of your sins (for we ALL have sinned – Romans 3:23; 6:23) and been washed by the blood of Christ  (Revelation 1:5; Acts 22:16)?

Yes, Jesus died and shed His blood to purchase His church (cf. Acts 20:28; Matthew 16:18) and remit our sins (Matthew 26:28; Acts 2:38). He was buried and rose again on the third day (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Soon after His resurrection He ascended to Heaven to sit as King over His Kingdom (Acts 1:9-11; cf. Daniel 7:13-14). One day – on the last day – He will return to JUDGE all people (John 12:48; Acts 17:30-31; cf. Hebrews 9:27). The Bible tells us that ALL will stand before Christ, "Who will render to every man according to his deeds" (Romans 2:1-11). Again, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad" (2 Corinthians 5:10). Friends, we will ALL one day give an account for the way we have lived on this earth (Matthew 12:36; 18:23; Romans 14:12; Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 4:5)!

Therefore it's time, Yes, past time for Christians to seriously speak the truth in love (Ephesians
4:15) and simplicity out where the multitudes can hear it and believe. By trusting God (and a little work on our part), we can be SUCCESSFUL. We simply must get the word of God and the facts about TRUE CHRISTIANITY into the hands and hearts of the people.

SERVANTS OF GOD…YOU CAN HELP!

We Need:

(1) Your FAITH to “make up the hedge, and stand in the gap” before God with us for the land (see Ezekiel
22:30).

(2) Your FREELY given efforts to spread the word and this web site address to your families, congregations, news organizations, neighborhoods, communities, towns, cities, and state.

(3) Your PRAYERS always – unending – that God will bless His Word as it is humbly proclaimed from this web site.

(4) Your LOVING supportive encouragement for this
evangelistic ministry. Please count the cost as you give a part of yourself to support this grass roots individual effort.

REMEMBER: CHRISTIANS are children, ministers, soldiers, kings and priest of the Most High God. Therefore, we have no need to doubt, worry, or be afraid (cf. James 1:5-8; Matthew 6:25, 31, 34; 2 Timothy 1:7; 1 John 4:18). If you are a believer, it's our prayer that this web site will motivate you to do what you can to help us patiently spread the truth of God's Word (cf. Colossians 4:3; 2 Thessalonians 3:1). We will pray and watch as God uses His Word to bring the world back under His righteous dominion (cf. Isaiah 55:11). We will trust God and give Him the glory for all the results (Daniel 4:17, 25, 32; 5:21). His will be done!

ALL GLORY TO GOD!

With love in Christ,

Samuel & Cynthia Matthews
